Nice move - Barack Hussein Obama

When standing for the National Anthem, placing your right hand over your heart is considered proper etiquette. It seems that a certain senator could stand to learn this. From Time Magazine:
Tom Harkin's Iowa Steak Fry
Respect

Senator Barack Obama, Governor Bill Richardson, Senator Hillary Clinton and Ruth Harkin stand during the national anthem.

He is not trying for a position of mega football fan, or good guy. He is running for the Presidency of the United States of America. If he can't set a leading example in this, then there is zero hope he can lead the country.

Assuming he might win, what will he rest his hand on as he takes the oath of office? A Koran?
That would be shaking tradition up way too much!!

We are ready to condemn this man for doing exactly what millions of Americans do every day! Amazing. Go to any sporting event and see how "patriotic" our citizens are. I fail to see any disgrace on the part of this politician. He is a good man.

At least he wasn't slouching with his hands in his pockets refusing to take off his ball cap...
