bq. U.S. military officials say two suspects were killed and five other detained in the Baghdad operation. One target of the strike was a warehouse U.S. officials say guerrillas used to plan attacks on U.S. forces.
bq. Earlier Wednesday, a truck exploded after it crashed through barriers in front of Italian military police headquarters in Nasiriyah. That attack resulted in the first casualties among the Italian contingent that is part of the U.S.-led coalition in Iraq.
It will be interesting when we find the nationalities of the attackers... This one was bad in that it happened in the otherwise quiet 90% of the country rather than in that 10% of the country where the Baathist hangers-on are located.
