Open Office 2.0 released

When Open Office was first released five years ago, there was a question as to whether it would succeed and become a Microsoft Office Killer. Too early to tell yet as Version 2.0 has only just been released but prior versions were very interesting and 2.0 will definitely be given a through workout by lots of people (myself included). It has WRITER (compatible with MS Word), IMPRESS (think PowerPoint), CALC (Excel), DRAW (a vector drawing program with 2D and 3D capabilities) and some Database tools. Lots of nice extras like the ability to write in PDF and Flash (SWF) formats natively. The suite is fully compatible with MS Office file formats for both read and write.
