Cripes -- I thought that all the bad stuff was over and behind us.
I woke up last evening around 3:00am puking my guts out and unable to walk straight or form a coherent sentence. Jen drove me to the local hospital emergency room and I spent the next 30 hours under their care. Turns out it was a
Transient Ischemic Attack and not in itself serious (I am 99% back to whatever passes for normal except for a mild loss of strength in my left hand and a little tingling on my left fingertips) but TIA's can be a pre-cursor to a more serious full-on stroke.
I'll be seeing a neurologist in the next week and have some drugs to take for blood pressure (always been on the high side) so we will see what happens from here.
The FNU never stops around here!
