Some amazing crystals

These are some selenite crystals -- a form of gypsum. Look at the picture and see the man at the left for a sense of the scale.

Saw this at Maggie's Farm More images here: The Cellar Parent site of the Naica cave system with video and galleries: Naica Caves Conditions in there are a wee bit harsh -- from 125 to 150 degrees F (50-65 degrees C) and stays at 100% humidity.
