Some people have a vertical axis squirrel-cage wind turbine (low RPM/high torque).
They noticed an Anole lizard spinning around, stopped the turbine, 'rescued' the little guy and an hour later, he was back again. It comes and goes as it pleases and seems to really like the ride. 2:54 of YouTube goodness.
