I grew up when the NASA Mercury flights were just starting and my grade school would come to a stop and 120 students and faculty would cram into the assembly room to watch a small B&W television set whenever these launches took place.
Private company SpaceX successfully launched their Falcon1 rocket into orbit.
Talk about goosebumps!
