Just received an email that the provisioning people will be getting in touch... Was in town today so get a couple extra of the Costco UPSs for the server.
I am downloading the server edition of Ubuntu -- it will be fun to play around with it while waiting for the connection. I do prefer Kubuntu but there is no optimized server version for it.
Registered FoothillsPowerandLight.com last evening as well as FoothillsInternet.com -- rather surprised the latter was available...

The server version should be stripped of both KDE and Gnome... If you like Kubuntu, just add the KDE packages back in and you have it. (Though on a server, you shouldn't need it.)
