Heard back from Verizon this afternoon -- they gave me the 64 IPv4 addresses I asked for. I will be using these for the entire installation (five communities, one small datacenter and the valley north of the house here) but this means that if someone wants to run a VPN, I don't have to go to Verizon hat in hand and beg for a pittance more. I have enough to work with and a good cushion beyond that...
Four of the communities have more than a hundred households so it's bonded pair for them. Should be a fun (and busy) summer.
