Pervasive personal media

Twenty years ago, the government would have been able to get away with crap like this. Now? Not so much... The Memorial service in Tuscon was more in the tone of a political rally rather than a solemn service. When Obama spoke, there was thunderous applause. White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said:
I will say that I read the speech several times and thought that there wouldn�t be a lot of applause if any. I think many of us thought that.
