Where am I? CN88xw
Been setting up my "ham shack" and evaluating some logging software.
Turns out that a station's location is determined by their spot on the
Maidenhead Locator System. (not that Maidenhead,
this one)
By looking up my QTH (location), I can see that I am at CN88xw. I can establish my location on the surface of this planet (within a "square" approximately three by four miles in size) with just six characters. Fun stuff...
There is a lot of great software out there!!!
