Buying and selling Microphone PreAmps on eBay

A decoder ring for the terminology used -- from micpreamps.net:
Preamp eBay glossary
If you've ever thought about buying or selling preamps on eBay, especially vintage preamps - here's a little glossary to help you out:
Antique: Anything being sold on eBay
Retro: Anything being sold on ebay by someone who can't spell "antique"
Buyer to collect: OK, so I *really* want to see the person who would actually buy this crap
Working: So, at some point I heard some type of noise come out of this, but I couldn't tell if it was mains hum, or a voltage spike from plugging in a microphone
Not working: I tried to mod it or fix it myself, and it's even worse than before I got ahold of it
Unsure if it functions/Sold as-is: See 'not working'
Small problem, probably just a tube: It *could* be a tube, but it's very unlikely, as I tried to replace the tube myself, and it didn't help. Of course this is the primary reason that I'm selling it in the first place, stupid.
Bill Putnam era: It looks like someone built it in their garage
