Good on him!

From France24:
Israel ready to significantly expand Gaza offensive
Israels Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a stern warning to Hamas on Sunday, declaring that the Israeli army was prepared to significantly widen its Gaza offensive. Netanyahus threat came as Hamas launched a fresh rocket attack on Tel Aviv.
More:
Our sole aim of this offensive is to make Hamas stop firing rockets. We have used air strikes but if thats not enough then we may contemplate ground operations as well, Ygal Palmor from the Israeli foreign ministry told FRANCE 24 on Sunday.

If rockets are being fired then that will bring the ground operation forward, he added.

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman also said on Sunday that Israel would not negotiate a truce with the Gaza Strip's Hamas rulers as long as rocket fire continues from the Palestinian enclave.
Sounds pretty simple to me -- stop firing rockets and we will pull back. Keep firing rockets and we will go into your territory, annihilate your military, destroy your munitions and ordnance and send you from the 9th century back even further into the 4th century. One last little bit:
The night of violence represents a blow to peace efforts, which have been lead by Egypts President Mohamed Morsi, who on Saturday said there were indications a truce could "soon" be reached.
France24 reports this as being a truce when in reality it would be a Hudna. The word Hudna does not mean truce -- it is a tactical truce that allows the so-called Palestinians to re-arm themselves and then find some minor infraction that allows them to break the "truce" and then come back even stronger than before. This has been explored at length here, here and here. Makes for some fascinating historical reading. From the first link above:
Hudna has a distinct meaning to Islamic fundamentalists, well-versed in their history: The prophet Mohammad struck a legendary, ten-year hudna with the Quraysh tribe that controlled Mecca in the seventh century. Over the following two years, Mohammad rearmed and took advantage of a minor Quraysh infraction to break the hudna and launch the full conquest of Mecca, the holiest city in Islam.
The Israelis are just as aware of the true definition as everyone else so no -- no truce, only surrender. Posted by DaveH at November 18, 2012 1:16 PM
