Hummingbird landmark - 50 pounds of sugar
I have been keeping some hummingbird feeders out and the
response has been amazing.
Bought a 50 pound bag of cane sugar from Costco at the beginning of the season and hit a landmark today. I am making another gallon of nectar and used the last of the 50 pound bag. I don't use sugar for culinary purposes -- prefer brown sugar -- so all of the 50 pounds was for the hummingbirds. Going through about 2/3 gallon per day.
