Egypt�s Embattled Coptic Church Lashes Out at Western Media for Giving �Political Cover� to �Terrorist and Bloody Groups�
Egypt�s Orthodox Coptic Church lashed out at Western media coverage of the recent violence in its country, saying �read objectively the facts of events and [don't] give international and political cover to these terrorist and bloody groups.�
The church also announced its support for state military and police against the �black terrorism� of the Muslim Brotherhood-led forces supporting ousted former President Mohammad Morsi, according to statement Friday and reported by Al Arabiya.
I think it is incredibly cool that the Egyptian defense minister has ordered the repair and reconstruction of all churches that suffered damage in the country�s violent demonstrations since the Egyptian military removed President Mohamed Morsi from power last month.
Morsi is scum and for the United States to cozy up to him shows a stunning lack of awareness on the part of our administration and the media.
