Cool imaging technology
Using a
different technology than standard digital cameras,
Lytro is able to record a scene and then you can adjust the plane of focus at a later time.
They just announced a new camera -- the
Illum -- here is a clip showing what it can do:
I am more into
focus stacking than this but it is still a fascinating technology.
