One has to remember that the 'palestinian people' are a construct of the old Soviet Union. Russia took Yasser Arafat under their wing, Arafat studied in Moscow for seven years and came to the Middle East with full KGB backing.
Russia wanted to destabilize the area to prevent Israel and the USA from gaining control over the oil resources.
The people claiming to be palestinian are Hashimite Jordanians and Jordan is now so fed up with them that it is illegal for a palestinian to purchase land in Jordan.
